Mr Northern/ Mr Nailor's year 7 group

Just a reminder that your homework this week is to produce a weather report for Manaus to be broadcast on a local radio station.

Think about the style of delivery.
Look at the following link to give you some ideas on the way to present your report.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/
As for the content .... it needs to be factual

Think about the following:
First thing in the morning it will be bright, sunny and calm
During the morning temperatures will rise - how hot will it be?
Mention humidity
During the afternoon clouds will form - what type?
What will the weather be like mid afternoon?
The evening will be calm and clear again
What is the outlook for the next few days.

Remember to illustrate your work.

Your next task will be about plant and animal adaptations to the rainforest ecosystem. You will discover a new species....
you will need to design your new species. You will need to explain how it has adapted to the rainforest climate, soils and vegetation.
Let your imagination and creativity stir .......
